Bye Buy

Since I'm home for the week due to sickness, I've had time to browse through all of my favourite sites & depress myself even more! That said, all the items I chose are budget friendly(ish).

Just click on the picture & it'll bring you to the site. Beware, if you're anything like I am, you'll end up buying much more than you intended. Third world problems eh?

Laser card in one hand & a tub of Ben & Jerry's in the other (Chocolate Fudge Brownie to be exact).... here are some of the beautiful gems I found ♥

Also available in a beautiful tan leather look!

 So Carrie Bradshaw!

I'm in LOVE with this skirt, but can't find it!

 So Blair Waldorf!

Loving hand accessories at the moment :)

Ta-dah!

That's it! I do admit to buying a few of these little guilty pleasures as I felt sorry for myself. Now, I need to get back to resuscitating my laser card :) Go ahead, treat yourself, It's the weekend :)

"I like my money right where I can see it... hanging in my closet."

Coatigan - River Island, White Tee - Zara, Jeans - River Island, Hidden Heel Hightops - River Island

Khaki Parka, Boyfriend Beanie, Socks & Tights - Dunnes Stores.

'N' Necklace - Topshop, Clock Necklace - Asos, Watch - River Island,
Gold Bracelets - Penneys, Notebook - Accesorize

My Photographer - Mr. Fionn Conroy :)

One of my many New Year resolutions is to start saving - mission impossible I know!! I'm the worst!! So I'm avoiding town, nights out & the likes, at all costs! So when I went into town yesterday to buy some groceries, clothes were the last thing on my mind - wink wink, nudge nudge!

I've been looking for the perfect khaki parka since my birthday in November, but me being as fussy as ever, found a fault with each & every one! Don't even get me started on my little beauty that was sold out in Oasis :( So there I was 'grocery' shopping when BOOM I spotted a perfect little parka in.... Dunnes! See above photos - This little contrast leatherette sleeve parka set me back €55 (so much for saving) hence the SATC quote - "I like my money right where I can see it... hanging in my closet." :)

Since I had to check out anyway, it would be rude not to pick up a few more items! Every girl loves a boyfriend beanie, I fell for this baby pink cosy knit one! Perfect to keep our little heads warm & toasty and extremely handy on bad hair days! I'm loving patterened tights at the moment, love the bold impact they add to your outfit! Cosy socks - need I say more?

What I wore - I went for a very simple, laid back look. I wore my colourful maroon kicks to add playfulness to my understated outfit, along with a classic white tee, gold accesories, & River Island jeans! I have already mentioned my love for these hightops here -click me!!. Love this beautiful boyfriend coatigan I borrowed from my sister! :)

As some of you may have seen on my Instagram, here's an update of my memory jar!
Have you started yours? How are you doing?
I hope you have a lot of happy memories so far :)

New Years Eve x

Aztec Earrings - Miss Selfridge, Watch - RI, Bracelets - Penneys.

Gúna - Miss Selfridge, Lita Boots - Boohoo, Bag - Zara.

Here's what I wore on NYE! I bought this LBD (with a twist) in Miss Selfridge 2 or 3 years ago! As you all know, I love a little bit of sparkle, so you can only imagine my excitement when I found this little gem hidden in the back of my wardrobe! #magpie

I thought it was perfect for the night as it had just enough sequin & sparkle and a sweetheart neckline which I always find so flattering & girly! I added Lita Boots to toughen it up!

I decided not to wear my Miss Selfridge sequin blazer, incase I'd be mistaken for a disco ball! I opted for a cropped black blazer instead - less is more! :)

Love this!!x

I'm loving memory jars at the moment & I'm so excited to start mine! Too often, we forget all the little things that make us happy throughout the year!
So..... Why not jot all your memories & highlights down?! The best of 2013!

Basically, you start with an empty jar and over the course of a year, every time something good, fun  or positive happens write it down and pop it into the jar. At the end of the year, you empty out the contents of your jar and read all the things that made you smile over the past year! Too cute eh? :)

I'll keep you posted ;)

Here are some of  my fave quotes to live by in 2013 :)

* Don't let anyone, ever, dull your sparkle!

* Make things happen :)

* She believed she could, so she did!

*  Be yourself - everyone else is already taken ;)

* Life is too short to wait!

* You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one! :)

& my personal favourite....

* Never, ever, stop dreaming!

Here's what I wore on one of many random nights out between Christmas & New Years! You can never go wrong with black! Wearing black is like having a blank canvas, you can do or add whatever you want to it!! Bling it up, keep it simple & chic, the choice is yours!

I opted for a sequin blazer to brighten it up & to add some festive sparkle! Just the right amount of pixiedust ;) I bought this little gem in the Miss Selfridge sale for €25!! I love these little timeless star-buys, so handy to have in your wardrobe!

I adore this gold statement necklace my friend Cathy gave me! It has an Egyptian aztec feel to it & I love the little bursts of turquoise! It's amazing how a necklace can transform a simple outfit into something a little more special & completely dress it up! :)

Lita's are so versatile, love the edgy look they add to your outfit & how comfy and stylish they are!

Christmas feels like a lifetime ago - January blues are certainly kicking in!!

Fifty Shades of Grey.... & Green!

Girls, I am very sorry to dissapoint!! This post has nothing to do with Christian Grey, it's actually about clothes!! But I won't judge if you do want to fascinate about him, especially if he's in the form of Ryan Gosling ♡

So....Back to reality(unfortunately)...

I nearly ran out of outfits to wear this Christmas as I was out socialisng nearly every night! I love the care-free attitude everyone has come Christmas Time, everyone is out celebrating & making the most out of life! Now that it's all over, I finally have time to catch up on my blogging!

I literally didnt have enough time to take an outfit photo of what I wore on St.Stephen's night as I had to rush to get the hackney, Cinderella story - once again!!
So here's a quick peek :)

Shirt - New Look, Belt - Moschino, Skirt - Penneys, Watch - RI,
Spiked Bracelets - Penneys, Wooden Bracelet - Topshop, Colourful Bracelets - Bought in Crete

St. Stephens night is one of my favourite social nights of the year! I wore a New Look shirt I bought on sale for €13, Moschino belt & my famous leather pleated skirt (that I'm sure you've never seen me wear before ;)) My Topshop lace up booties cannot be seen in the above pictures! It was a very simple outfit, perfect for dancing the night away!

Jumper - Topshop, Skirt - Penneys, Wedges - Miss Selfridge

Floral garland - New Look

Here's the outfit I wore going to dinner, during our midweek stay in Cork! I love skirts, but due to the fact that we live in Ireland, baring your legs can be a disaster when everyday is Winter weather! That's why I love layering jumpers, like this one from Topshop with a skirt, as its chunky enough to keep you warm but not bulky enough to ruin your look! I bought these gorgeous chic black wedges in Miss Selfridge, they have a beautiful bow detail in the back & to top it all off they were reduced to €30!

Cork City is a great spot for shopping, especially Opera Lane which offers some of my favourite shops including H&M, River Island, Topshop, Gap, New Look & Kuyichi - just to name a few!

This is why my Laser Card has insufficient funds:.....

I picked up alot in the Topshop sale as you can see in the above photos! My poor Laser card is battered & bruised as a result of all my shopping & festivities during Christmas! I love these Illustrated People vests I bought, hence Fifty Shades of Grey!! They were all reduced to less than half price, how could a girl resist! I love the Water Sign necklace I bought, I'm big into starsigns & being a Scorpian I had to have it! The jade ring was too pretty to leave on the shelf, so I decided to foster it & raise it as one of my own ;)

My notebooks are overflowing with details of all my outfit posts & festivities during the holidays. All I have to do now is to update my blog!

Hope you enjoyed reading this!
